Big Holidays

As I didn't write for about two months, I'll give a short update. Ya, right, I've been too lazy lah xD. I even don't know where to start. Every single months I experience and learn a lot.. (would take to much time to write xD).

Oktober

For Deepavali I moved to the Indian family of one of Giulia's classmates together with Naoko, Chiyuki and Giulia for four days. Already on the first day we played games and talked until early in the morning. We really had a lot of fun together. The mom (by the way...she cooks amazing^^) gave us the chance to wear her traditionell clothes and all that stuff. One of the only families here in Malaysia, where I felt like a real family member right after arriving there. They are so warmhearted and even now they would help us willingly. ahh... I really like them :D!!

Me wrapped in a Saree

November

Holidays knocked on the door :D. (...have to look at my pictures to know where I went first^^...already forgot).

Before the Holidays started, I had the chance to go to a kind of survival camp with some of Form 3 (now Form 4). Some activities:

Rafting, group games, course (with things like moving hand over hand above water) and "solo drop"...means we had to follow a rope in the jungle..one by one in the darkness. Of course it began to rain heavily. I was already totally wet before I started the adventure trip through the brushwood.

Holiday summary:

Naoko, Chiyuki, Teacher Lucy, Yuan Ying, Giulia and me went by bus to Johor Baru. I think it took us almost 10 hours..boring ah. There we stayed at a chinese family ..with a very nice car xD (even the doors closed automatically xD). Finally after a quite long time...I stepped into a cinema. I kinda missed it the last months! After these few days in JB we went straight to...
...Melaka!!
For me one of the most beautiful cities in M'sia. A melange of history and modern life with a european touch.

Our two beloved Japanese girls :D had their End-of-Stay Camp and the other ones were also busy with AFS meetings. So that my 'Spatz' and me could enjoy ourselves in the meantime.

December
In begin of December I missed the "Monsoon cup"...cannot believe. Once a year there's a big event which Terengganu is famous for and I couldn't make it to go there. Around the 7th I went to KL for Hari Raya Haji (8th). There we stayed with KL chapter leader for two nights. On the 8th we went to see the sacrifice of the cows ._. ..very disgusting. Afterwards I felt like vomitting and I couldn't see any meat. Just can't get the picture out of my head..pity cow standing there..kinda shaking and watching his cow-mates bleeding on the ground ._.!!
That night two other guys from the Johor chapter arrived and we shared our experiences. I really have respect for "hunter" - one of them - because he's staying next to the jungle! He told us that his hostfather took a water snake out of the river and said: "Now we can go bathing." His house is surrounded by plantages and his neighbours are wildboars and whatsoever..!!
Next day we went off heading to Penang for our Mid-Stay-Camp, i.e. we spent the most of the time in a room discussing and answering questiongs about our past six months. Anyway Penang is a great place :D...and hopely we're going there for Thaipusam *muhiiii*!
Directly after the afs-camp we took the bus to Johor Bahru - ESPlosion Camp!! (11th - 14th) Unfortunately, we arrived around midnight so that we missed one day *hmmpf*...! Thanks again to them who came to fetch us...so kind :). I remember Christina in trance..haha. It was really a great experience with lots of touching moments...especially during worship. Btw...big laudation to HG...you guys did an amazing "job" :).
..Another overnight in JB and on the 15th I passed the control and stepped on Singaporean ground :D. I stayed there with extended hostfamily for about one week.
